FLDAS Vegetation Greenness Fraction and Leaf Area Index

The FLDAS model's vegetation greenness fraction input is based on a 20-year (1982-2001) monthly climatology from the Advanced Very High Resolution Radiometer, which is illustrated below. Monthly leaf area index is prescribed for various vegetation types.
