- confirmed date/time of next phone conference (Dec 17 2PM) and next face-to-face meeting (Jan 8, Noon, at OHD)
- each of four modeling groups reviewed the status of their 3-year retrospective LSM reruns (Oct 96 to Sep 99) with Brian Cosgrove's corrected forcing. All four models had indeed finished the reruns!! Output from the reruns from MOSAIC and VIC were fully resident at NASA and Rutgers, with staging out NOAH and SAC output to NASA and Rutgers well underway and expected to be completed in a matter of a couple days.
- Brian Cosgrove is working on getting remote login access for all the N-LDAS groups to the NASA/GSFC N-LDAS platform, similar to the remote access that all groups have to the NCEP N-LDAS platform. The NASA remote login access is imminent for all N-LDAS groups. This is needed to expedite and simplify getting all N-LDAS output for all four LSMs ftp'ed to GSFC archive on a routine basis.
- All four groups reported on the catch-up status of their realtime runs on the NCEP LDAS platform. The NOAH model is caught up to present time. The VIC (MOSAIC) model is caught up to April 2001 (May 2001) and both models catching up further to present time very soon. The SAC realtime runs have to be re-executed again from the mid-Apr 99 start date, be these the SAC executions are extremely fast, as the model code executes very quickly.
