Currently available GLDAS output includes 1° resolution 1979-present simulations of the Noah, CLM, and Mosaic LSMs, a 0.25° resolution simulation of the Noah LSM, and a 0.25° resolution 2001-present simulation of the Noah LSM in which MODIS derived snow cover observations were used to constrain modeled snow water equivalent via data assimilation. These datasets are available from the NASA Goddard Earth Sciences Data and Information Services Center (DISC), at http://disc.gsfc.nasa.gov/hydrology/hydro_get_data.shtml.
The GLDAS products are also provided to the GrADS Data Server (GDS) users. GDS users can perform subsetting and analysis operations without first downloading data. The GLDAS GDS information page will direct you to the locations where GDS enabled GLDAS data are stored.
